The features of WollMux are demonstrated in the following screencast. Duration: ca. 9 minutes.
Another screencast demonstrates the creation of WollMux forms
A graphical walk through WollMux
Basics
In its default mode the WollMux toolbar hides at the top of the screen and becomes fully visible when touched by the mouse cursor.
The WollMux toolbar has a pull-down menu that allows you to select the sender data to use for filling in letterheads. Usually this will only contain yourself, but e.g. secretaries who write for different people will need a longer list. The bottom-most menu entry gives you access to a dialog for customizing your sender list.
This dialog allows you to search the personnel database and to add people to your sender list.
When you open a letterhead, the WollMux automatically inserts personal and organizational data for the selected sender.
Forms
Forms/Abtretungserklärung(monolithisch) demonstrates the WollMux form functionality.
The red background of the date field signals that a plausibility check has failed. The bubble help that appears when the mouse hovers over the field explains the reason: The date format has to be dd.mm.jjjj (which is a nonsensical mix between German tt.mm.jjjj and English dd.mm.yyyy :-).
Checking "Genossenschaftsanteile" has caused 2 things:
1) The explanatory message (telling the user that at least one option needs to be checked) at the bottom of the form GUI has disappeared.
2) The correct text for the selected option has become visible in the document. Checking further checkboxes would make more text pieces appear inside the document.
Custom printing
This document contains Sachleitende Verfügungen. For such a document, different versions have to be printed. When the user requests to have the document printed, the WollMux intercepts this, detects that SLV are present, and presents a custom printing dialog that allows the user to select which of the different versions he wants to have printed. The user may choose to have all versions printed in one go and the WollMux will automatically generate and print them.
